About Us

Our People

The quality of building services engineering ultimately comes down to the people carrying it out.

Our people

Engineering is a skilled trade, built by skilled people

Building services engineering draws on a wide range of disciplines, from electrical and mechanical engineering to controls, pipefitting and project management. No single person has expertise across all of these, which is why strong projects depend on well-coordinated teams rather than individual heroics.

Culture matters as much as qualification. A team that communicates clearly, takes pride in its work and holds itself to a consistent standard will generally produce better outcomes than one with impressive certificates but poor coordination. We look for both: technical competence and the attitude to apply it well on site.

What we value

The qualities we look for

Across design, installation and maintenance roles, a few qualities consistently mark out strong building services professionals.

Technical grounding

A solid understanding of the engineering principles behind the systems being installed or maintained.

Attention to detail

Recognising that small errors in building services work can have outsized consequences later.

Clear communication

Being able to explain technical issues clearly to colleagues, other trades and clients alike.

Pride in finish

Treating installation quality and tidiness as part of the job, not an optional extra.
